Practical Tip

Insurance companies will insist that you can track down every little piece of information before “we can evaluate the claim.”  Even if the information they are now asking for would not add a penny to their offer, they are happy to wait another six weeks to track it down.  Meanwhile, they are earning interest on the money they are NOT paying you.

Rescue crews took the three victims to Emerald Point, where at least one was flown via a STAR Flight helicopter to the Dell Seton Medical Center. One woman sustained second- and third-degree burns while two others suffered burns to their lower extremities.

The Travis County Fire Marshal is leading an investigation into the cause of the fire.
