Train hits car, kills 2 children in Rockdale
The Department of Public Safety said two children died and two other people were hurt after their car was, hit by a train in Milam County.
DPS spokesman Tom Vinger on Tuesday identified the children who died as 9-year-old Monterious Hancock and 8- year-old Ahkeem Williams.
DPS says the woman driving the car and a 4-year-old passenger also were hurt in the collision Monday afternoon about two miles east of Rockdale.
DPS says the driver was the only person in the vehicle wearing a seat belt.
